Guadeloupe is an archipelago located in the eastern Caribbean Sea. This archipelago, one of the first places discovered by Christopher Columbus in the new continent, is an overseas department of France, one of the 26 regions of France, and therefore part of the European Union.  This essay is one of the first coins of this archipelago.
