Located in East Timor, Indonesia, Occussi-Ambeno became “independent” in 1968.  In 1973 it was the first and only state to establish full diplomatic relation with the Republic of Minerva, and it had diplomatic relations with a few other micro-states like Monaco or Liechtenstein. They have even been included once in the list of countries compiled by the United States Department of State.
